Waiting for Abigail

37 weeks! We made it to full term and that is good. I'm fine with waiting a couple weeks though! These last couple weeks I have had fun with my boys doing projects and just hanging out. I know Jacob is SO TIRED of painting for me but hey, now he has more appreciation for when I paint stuff. Like say, our ENTIRE GUEST BEDROOM SET. With three, yes three, coats of paint. Ok moving on... Here's what we've been up to!

Thank you Blake for making the bunny hat and teaching me how to crochet! It has been good for me to rest while making a few things for our sweet baby girl! The diaper cover is the first thing I ever crocheted and it is definitely a little off but it should do the trick! Here is the tutorial we followed.

Shout out to my sister-in-law Bonnie for giving me this chair so that I could get Jacob to paint it for me! After two coats of primer he was ready to throw in the towel but he stuck with it. Still not sure where it's going to go- I just know Abigail is going to go on it each month for her picture :)

Here is the tutorial I used for the growth chart. Jacob was a champ and painted the yellow for me :) I just used watered down brown acrylic paint to distress it pretty much wiping most of it off as I applied it with a foam brush. The stencils were pretty easy since I used an adhesive and barely needed to touch them up. Joey really likes standing up against it to see how tall he is. It will be fun to keep measuring him as he grows! 37 inches and 29.5 pounds right now... getting to be such a big boy!!

Sneak peek into Abigail's room... starting to get more and more pink! We really haven't done much in there. But it's ready for baby!

And last but not least... one of my crochet projects... coordinating hats for Abigail and Ethan that SHOULD fit them when homecoming rolls around... I hope!
