Joey started off the new year by officially crawling. For months he has been able to maneuver to every side and corner of his crib- usually smashing his face against the wood and looking incredibly uncomfortable. He could also roll over both ways and do 360's by propelling himself with one leg. But there was never any forward motion. Until yesterday. We just put him on the ground and Jacob said, "I really want to see you crawl." and bam. it happened! We were ridiculously excited and made fools of ourselves. He did it one more time for the video camera and then got tired. We'll have to work on his endurance ;)
Since our Chick-fil-A adventure we have managed to eat there more than our quota of once per week. oops. Guess we'll have to camp out again. The holidays were great with Jacob finishing his Boards exam on the 23rd and having no school work until today. We were able to spend some of Christmas with my family and some with the Moore side. We even went to Waco to do some house hunting. Jacob doesn't graduate til May and then he has to wait for his license so we basically aren't in any rush. Which made the "hunting" more like brousing and was really quite enjoyable. Joey did great. We did find a house that we realllllly love so we'll just have to see what happens with that! The kitchen is just so beautiful. yeesh. so much for not being emotionally attached :(
This time last year I didn't know I was pregnant. I passed out in church and thought it was just my hypoglycemia kicking in. None of my clothes fit and I weighed 20 pounds more than I do now. I spent my entire MLK holiday getting bloodwork re-done because the results were irregular. I never would have imagined having a sweet 7 month old! He brings so much joy to my life. I can't imagine life without him!
